Cathy faced her final years with extraordinary courage as she battled liver cancer, a journey marked by strength, resilience, and dignity. In addition to her cancer diagnosis, she endured several other health challenges that tested her physically and emotionally. Yet, through it all, Cathy remained steadfast in spirit, choosing compassion and warmth even in the face of hardship. Her determination and calm presence left a lasting impression on all who walked beside her during this difficult time.
Above all else, Cathy was a woman deeply devoted to her family. She was a loving mother whose guidance, support, and unconditional love shaped the lives of those closest to her. To honor Cathy’s life, funeral services have been arranged at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, located at 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 6 to 8 p.m. These hours will provide an opportunity for friends and loved ones to gather, share memories, and offer support to the family.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday, December 31, from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a brief prayer service and luncheon in Cathy’s honor. As family and friends come together to celebrate her life, they will remember a woman whose love knew no limits and whose memory will forever remain in their hearts. Cathy Cortazzo’s life was one of quiet strength, deep compassion, and enduring love—and she will be dearly missed.
